Sam Decker, CMO at user generated content powerhouse Bazaarvoice, recently posted "The 5 Stars of a "Rockstar" Employee" on his marketing-centric blog.
The intention of the post is to help those interviewing possible new hires, but is is just as much a hint-list of possible questions one might be asked when interviewing for a position at a company like Bazaarvoice.

Link List ilLumination #1 - Adam Salamon
I have this list of "Other Sites" in the right margin of this blog. Most have one or two words in their text link so there is not much reason for you to check them out other then the slight endorsement of them being on my blog. Link List ilLuminations will be posts where I shed a bit more light on the people, companies, and etc that are part of my link list. What better place to start then at the top...

Not only is Adam a Director at user generated powerhouse Bazaarvoice, he is also a blogger who's post tend to center on self-branding and the web 2.0 world...oh, and I consider him a friend as well.

I know Adam is busy developing partnerships for Bazaarvoice, but I'm still looking forward to future posts and hope they start-up again soon.

$200 Million, Can You Digg It?
TechCrunch is reporting that Google and Digg are getting closer to a Google buy:
"Google’s on and off negotiations with Digg have been back on in a big way for the last six weeks, we’ve heard from multiple sources inside of Google, and the two companies are close to a deal that will bring Digg under the Google News property. The acquisition price is in the $200 million range, says one source."

San Antonio Replacement Windows - Just a quick SEO test
So, I'm at the SEM for SMB conference today and currently sitting in the end-of-day panel discussion. They are talking about a site they launched about 12 hours ago and how it is already getting high listing on Google. I'm going to test something out here so here goes:
San Antonio Replacement Windows
My issue with this "display of great SEO power" is that it is not really that big of a deal.
We'll see what Google thinks about this post and my test page.

SEM for SMB Conference - Today in Austin

I'm heading to the inaugural SEM for SMB conference here is Austin, Texas this morning. This two day event is supposed to be different then the sale-pitch-heavy conference that many of us are tired of attending. Fingers crossed that Chris Justice and his team at Sparksight will pull it off.
